30 percent of your grade is based on three assignments:
Project #1 - Your ePortfolio, first version due September 10, final by December 7
The portfolio must include examples of work you have created using tools that you use to improve photos, create graphics and interactive elements that include maps and Storify.
Project #3 - Online industry profile – Due November 26
You have a chance to speak to someone you’ve always wanted to speak to. This will be a person who is working a non-traditional job that interests you. This is your excuse to talk to him or her. You need to write a two to three page paper about your interview subject and a three minute presentation in class on the 26th
Project #3 - Hootsuite certificate training - Due December 7
Our class is teaming up with Hootsuite to give you a certificate training course that will look great on the resume and help you better understand how you can use social media tools better. This is the first time for #jenclass to participate in this program and I think it should be really cool.
